Oh Spring how I missed you!

Yaaay!! Spring is here!! We're loving this warmer weather, not too hot and humid yet, and all the sun! So far this month, we've been trying to get out in nature more, walking in our neighborhood. The baby and I went with some old friends from Panama City, who live in Tampa now (Carly, and Francis, Tony and Cayla) to our friend Betsy's birthday party near Orlando. It was at Betsy and Chris's beautiful new house, and we all had a good time seeing them and Betsy's parents!

The "pink" girls Betsy and Meredith:

The baby went to the doctor for her 6 month well visit, more shots. She's 28 inches long now, 20 lbs., and in great health! She's on stage 2 foods, eating 3 solid meals a day, veggies, fruit, and cereal (no meat quite yet), with bottles in between. Sitting up on her own, for a few minutes, has rolled from her back to her tummy to reach for toys, and likes to sit up and play her with toys more now than on her back (on your lap, ground, or couch with a little support), or stand. She's starting to imitate sounds now, and has a specific noise she does when she sees one of our cats. It's like "ah", so without the c or t. ;) They're more fun at this age because they play with their toys more and you can see them learning. But a little bit more needy of attention, and whiny. Sleeps ok at night, gets up once or twice, out of habit I think. But takes hour long naps about 3 times a day, so I can't complain!! We love how cuddly she gets when she's sleepy, or when she's just waking up and so happy.

Her big girl sippy cup (still doesn't like as much as old bottle)

One day her body will catch up with her head ;)

Happy Birthday to: Phillip, Tully, Adam, Alexis Jr., Austin, Papaw, and Tom (hope I didn't miss anyone)!

My sis Jennifer and husband hosted a great cookout at their house in Dunedin, had a few couples over. We had yummy ribs and sides, and Tony and Cayla brought oysters from the Panhandle, thank you!! We'll have to do it again soon you guys, next time our house :)
John and I have been doing alot of spring cleaning around the house. He cleaned up the pool, doesn't look like a tub full of mud anymore! I've been deep-cleaning and organizing closets. I took some of my nicer dresses to a consignment shop for women (Julie's in Brandon, ladies it's really nice if you ever need work suits or dresses), and got a little money already. Took alot of the baby's clothes to a baby consignment shop, got $60! And alot of barely used baby stuff we're giving to John's cousin, Chris and his wife Ashley because they're having twins soon!! Also been packing for our trip to P.C. (leaving tomorrow, yay!) And cleaning because when we get back, my BFF Kelly will be coming to Tampa from Atlanta for a few days! And I want to plan for a cookout in April because John will have every Saturday off, wooo-hooo!! Come on over people!
Here's some pics from walks to our park:
